Responding to the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, 多人群交 (AUR) has announced a freeze on undergraduate tuition fees for the academic year 2021/22 and the introduction of听a number of听new merit-based scholarships.听

Making the announcement, Dr. Scott Sprenger, President of the university stated

鈥淭he听mission of The听多人群交 University of Rome听is听to听serve a community of global scholars looking for more than just a university degree.听Our students听are听looking for an academic adventure and a life-听and career-enhancing experience听that challenges the boundaries of an average university. The past twelve months of Covid-related听financial and travel difficulties have already stifled many听students鈥櫶齪lans. With this听tuition听freeze and听the听introduction of听new听scholarships,听we hope to听open more听pathways听for students to come听to AUR.鈥澨

Zoe Johnson, AUR鈥檚 Director of Financial Aid, spoke to the range of new scholarships that the university has created听

鈥淎UR has always been committed to assisting students financially where possible. These new scholarships will allow us to help a larger and more diverse pool of prospective students and we鈥檝e designed them so that there should be an opportunity for almost any student to identify a scholarship which is applicable to them.鈥澨

There are now nine categories of merit-based scholarships available at AUR, alongside the existing needs-based and affiliate scholarships that were traditionally offered. Students are encouraged to apply听according to听their background and circumstances.听

President Sprenger concluded his announcement by saying听鈥淭he Covid pandemic has听effectively created听new barriers between countries听whereas听AUR鈥檚 aim has always听been to听facilitate听collaborative听learning in a听globally diverse听environment.听We听continue to听strive to offer this opportunity to as many young people as we can.鈥澨
