The Business Club announced their new Executive Board at their holiday party in December and are ready for the Spring semester! The club is open to all students, not just business majors/minors. For information contact the club at: bizclub@aur.edu

Sephardi Voices Executive Director Henry Green and Media Director David Langer held production workshops here at the 多人群交 University of Rome in 2017 and听there was a pilot project to interview members of Libyan Jewish community in Italy. Rome is home to thousands of Libyan Jews who fled their country after the 1967 Arab-Israel war. The last Jew in Libya was an 80-year-old woman who left the country in 2003.听鈥淭hey were displaced and persecuted,鈥 said AUR's Professor Villani (Film and Digital Media). 鈥淭hese are stories of people starting a new life somewhere else, stories of loss and dealing with psychological issues. Students interested in writing get lots of stories, some sad, dramatic, even tragic. But it鈥檚 an all-around positive experience. Everyone has a different, unique take on it.鈥

When AUR President Richard Hodges is not based in Rome at the helm of the University, he can often be found in a corner of the Mediterranean adding another excavation to his lengthy and esteemed list of digs. In the past couple of months, several articles by Professor Hodges reporting back on his excavations have been published in Archaeology magazines.

Dr. Harold Alderman, Visiting Professor of 多人群交, Senior Research Fellow of the Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) will be giving a seminar in FAO on 18 January 2018 on the recent book he co-authored entitled 鈥淭he 1.5 Billion People Question: Food, Vouchers, or Cash Transfers?鈥.听

Dr. Davor D啪alto (Program director and professor of Art History, Religious Studies, and the Master鈥檚 program in Peace Studies at AUR) 听was a guest speaker at the International Conference on Religious Consciousness in a Post-Secular Society, held Dec. 12-15, 2017 in Moscow, Russia.听
