Updated January 2024
COVID-19 is still active.
You can take simple steps to protect yourself and those around you.听
Confirmed Covid Cases听
Individuals who test positive for a molecular or antigen diagnostic test for SARS-CoV-2 are no longer subject to self-isolation.
It is strongly recommended to take precautionary measures to prevent the transmission of most respiratory infections.
Steps to take:
-
Wear a mask (surgical or FFP2).
-
If you are symptomatic, stay home until your symptoms subside. Contact the AUR Medical Advisor for advice.
-
Wash your hands regularly.
-
Avoid crowded places.
-
Avoid close contact with highly vulnerable individuals, the immunocompromised, and pregnant women.听
-
Avoid visits to high-risk settings such as hospitals or nursing homes. This is particularly important for healthcare workers who are in close contact with patients who are at high risk.
-
If you test positive for COVID-19, notify individuals you were in close contact with in the days leading to the positive test result. It is particularly important to inform the elderly, the vulnerable, or immunocompromised individuals.
-
If you are at high risk from Covid, you should contact the AUR Medical Advisor if your symptoms do not subside within three days, or your health worsens.
Close contacts
There are no restrictions for close contacts. It is strongly recommended that individuals exposed to COVID-19 monitor their health for COVID-like symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue) in the days following the last exposure to the positive case.
听
During this time, you should avoid contact with other people, particularly the most vulnerable, such as the elderly, the immunocompromised, and pregnant women. If you begin to experience COVID-19 symptoms, you should get tested and contact the AUR Medical Advisor at (+39)320 4065709.听
Please听note that all classes will continue to meet exclusively in person.
